“Wherever you go, I will go, and where you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people, and Your God will be my God.” Ruth 1:16
After reading an article called “Fear Not” out of a God Girl Bible, I decided to post the gist of the article in my own interpretation:
We all fear something at one time or another, but it’s good to remember that God will never put us through something or let something happen to us without it being a part of His plan. Naomi moved to Moab when her family suffered from famine. (Also why Jacob and his sons went to Egypt.) Although a lot of what they went through was rough, God had made it part of His plan for them.
As we go through a hard time, it’s hard to see what greatness may come out of it all, but if we only think about the negative things, the negativity will be the only things we ever see. Fill yourself with the promises of God and focus on being full rather than worrying about being depression free, worry free, lonely free, ect. Fill yourself with love, happiness, and so on. An example are believers who are captured, or imprisoned for their faith. Many are beaten and abused every day for choosing the Christian lifestyle. They can’t necessarily escape those negative, fear instilling, situations. These people cling to God, and they sing praise because of His love for them. Our God is a loyal God who will only put us through something knowing that it will lead us into something even greater. The Bible assures us that God is not an observer, but a participant in our lives.
